You need not worry about transport to and from the hotel. At an additional cost Merton House can provide a door-to-door transport service, including specially adapted vehicles to accommodate wheelchairs.
Merton House Hotel is superbly located in Ross On Wye, with The Royal Forest of Dean only a short drive away, offering woodlands and a rich industrial history. Deer and Wild Boar still roam the forest. The Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains lay to the west. The spectacular Wye Valley and Symonds Yat are also close by.
The house dating back to the early 18th century is full of character, affording a warm and cosy atmosphere. The main lounge overlooks our beautiful gardens, where it is a real pleasure to sit and enjoy the view, or afternoon drink and then the evening entertainment we put on four nights a week.
